Blue Diamond Aviation operates mixed fleet of training aircraft to meet different student needs. We have mix of Cessna, and Piper to choose from (Cessna 152,172, Piper PA-23 160). Flight Simulators are also used for training based on the approved number of hours in the training syllabus. (PCATD/ BATD)
All non U.S. citizens are required to complete and get cleared by transportation safety administration before we start flight training. Please check with “procedure to complete TSA Registration.
Class 1 medical certificate is recommended for all students seeking a professional pilot career. It is basic exam to make sure you are fit to fly. There are no height or weight restrictions to get your Medical Certificate. Corrected vision is also accepted. To find a doctor in your area visit http://ame.cami.jccbi.gov
For your convenience, we will arrange your airport pick up shuttle service. We also have company transportation onsite.
We have different housing choices to meet your individual need. (Apartment, Studio Motel, Home Stay, Room for Rent)
For your convenience, we accept multiple payment options. Payments may be made by cash, credit card, traveler’s checks, money order, western union or wire transfer
Payment 1: (10%) Before your arrival to U.S. / Sign Up for Training Package
Minimum of 10% deposit due for initial package and additional purchased hours
Schedule for airport shuttle pickup
Payment 2: (40%) Before Training Start
Minimum of 40% deposit due before training start
TSA Registration/ finger print completed for non-U.S. citizens
Payment 3: (40%) Middle of the Training
Minimum of 40% tuition due after 20 hours of training
Payment 4: (10%) Before your checkride date
Last 10% of the package tuition due, or any additional hours
All refunds will be made on the following basics:
Students will receive a refund less an administrative fee of $350.00. The total refund is determined by multiplying the complete training hours by the current hourly rates, housing fee, used books and supplies. All Refund request will be processed within 3 weeks. No Refund on the special package. All refund requests have to be made in writing to the account department.
